Manager, Partnership Development - Clinical Services

The primary purpose of this position is to manage operations in the home office student services department for the development of healthcare partnerships to support clinical and practicum learning opportunities for students. This manager will lead a team of colleagues focused primarily on the development of clinical partnerships to support Chamberlain's future and current BSN program markets.

  • Manage implementation of processes and structure for a team of people responsible for the development and management of the business relationships necessary to support students' clinical and practicum fieldwork experiences.

  • Manage the activity of colleagues responsible for site qualification and relationship management as well as securing affiliation agreements and supporting documentation to support placement of students at healthcare facilities.

  • Identify and lead large scale process improvement efforts and process changes in the delivery of partnership and preceptor services.

  • Maintain expertise in regulatory and compliance trends that impact the delivery of student services, and make recommendations for change.

  • Leads the identification and development of new clinical partnerships to support the growth of online and campus programs.

  • Analyze data and report on core measurements.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years in higher education or business/healthcare relationship management including some management responsiblities.

  • An understanding of healthcare education and clinical or practicum placement required.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.

  • Ability to lead change.

  • Communication skills, aptitude for working in multiple software systems.

  • Must be able to travel approximately 1/x per month.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
